Berens Digital Taxidermy (BDT) is proudly based in Dorr, Michigan, and owned by husband-and-wife team Samantha and Jesse Berens. Rooted in a deep love for the outdoors, family, and community, BDT blends creativity with tradition in a modern way.

Samantha works in special education and is the daughter of a Marine, values that have shaped her strong work ethic and dedication. Jesse is a firefighter and a passionate outdoorsman who spends as much time as possible in the woods. Together, they are raising their two children to share the same respect for the outdoors and the traditions that come with it.

BDT began as a way for Samantha to combine her love of the outdoors with her background in graphic design. After being asked by her son to create an image of his first buck, she put her skills to work and Berens Digital Taxidermy was born. What started as a meaningful family project quickly grew into a passion for creating high-quality digital mounts that preserve memories for a lifetime.

Samantha is always up for a challenge and truly enjoys custom orders that push her creativity and test her skills. While whitetail deer are popular, BDT is not limited to any one species we welcome all animals, ideas, and unique requests.

Giving back is important to the Berens family. Samantha and Jesse often donate their work to local first responder events and hunting club fundraisers, helping spread their love for the outdoors to the next generation.
