Berens Digital Taxidermy (BDT) is proudly based in Dorr, Michigan, and owned by husband-and-wife team Samantha and Jesse Berens. Rooted in a deep love for the outdoors, family, and community, BDT blends creativity with tradition in a modern way.

Samantha works in special education and is the daughter of a Marine, values that have shaped her strong work ethic and dedication. Jesse is a firefighter and a passionate outdoorsman who spends as much time as possible in the woods. Together, they are raising their two children to share the same respect for the outdoors and the traditions that come with it. A portion of all sales are donated to youth outdoors programs and local first responders .
Every design is hand crafted by Samantha using professional graphic design software and a sharp eye for detail. From weathered, rustic looks to clean, modern prints, each piece is built to capture the true spirit of the outdoors.
These designs go beyond the animal itself bringing the full scene to life. Tree stands, blinds, terrain, and the small details that make each hunt or moment unique can all be included. Want a custom scene? Samantha works closely to recreate it as true to life as possible.
